The Meteorological Forecasting Division has said that the country is experiencing a partial influence of westerly and local winds, with cloudy conditions in hilly areas and clear weather elsewhere.

This afternoon, hilly regions are expected to see partial cloud cover, with light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning at a few places in Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces. Light snowfall is also likely in some high-altitude and mountainous areas.

Tonight, partial cloud cover will persist in hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, while the rest of the country will see clear skies.

The division has advised caution, as the expected weather conditions may impact daily life, agriculture, health, road transport, and aviation.
