A westerly low-pressure system is influencing Nepal’s weather, the Meteorological Forecasting Division has said.

Hilly regions of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, along with other mountainous areas, will see partly to generally cloudy conditions, while the rest of the country will experience mainly clear skies with partial cloud cover.

Light rain with thunder and lightning is likely in a few places in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces. Some higher hilly and Himalayan areas may also witness light snowfall, which could impact daily life, health, road, and air transport. Authorities have advised necessary precautions.
