The Meteorological Forecasting Division has reported the presence of a weak westerly wind system in Nepal, affecting weather conditions across the country.

A mild cold wave is currently prevailing in the eastern parts of Madhesh Province, including Saptari, and the Tarai regions of Koshi Province, particularly Jhapa, Morang, and Sunsari. Additionally, dense fog persists in several other Tarai regions.

Meanwhile, the weather remains mostly clear in hilly and mountainous areas. The Division has forecast clear skies in Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim Provinces.
