The hilly regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces are forecast to experience partly to generally cloudy weather on Sunday, with the possibility of light rain in one or two areas. The high hilly and mountainous regions of these provinces may also witness light snowfall in isolated locations.

Elsewhere in the country, weather conditions will remain partly cloudy to mainly fair throughout the day.

Tonight, similar conditions will prevail, with partly to generally cloudy weather over the hilly regions of Koshi Province and partly cloudy to mainly fair skies across the rest of Nepal. Light rain may occur in one or two places in Koshi's hilly areas.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather is influenced by the general impact of westerly winds.

On Saturday, Janakpur recorded the highest temperature at 30.0°C, Jumla the lowest at -3.1°C, and Taplejung the highest rainfall at 1.6 mm.
