On Friday, partly to generally cloudy weather is expected in the Koshi Province along with the hilly regions of Bagmati Province and Gandaki Province while the rest of the country will remain partly cloudy to mainly fair.

Light to moderate rainfall, accompanied by thunder and lightning, is likely in some areas of Koshi Province and in one or two places of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and the hilly regions of the country, according to the Metrological Forecasting Division.

During the night, Koshi Province and the hilly regions of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces will see partly to generally cloudy skies while the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to mainly fair weather.

Light to moderate rain, along with thunder and lightning, is likely in a few areas of Koshi Province and at one or two locations in the hilly regions of Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.

According to meteorological analysis, monsoon winds are affecting most areas of Koshi Province, Madhesh Province, and eastern Bagmati Province, while western winds are influencing the rest of the country.

In mountainous regions, there are chances of rain or snow in some areas of the western region, while central and eastern regions may experience rain or snow in one or two places.

On Wednesday, the highest temperature recorded was in Janakpur, reaching 36.5°C, while Jomsom had the lowest at 9.0°C.
