The weather on Thursday is forecast to be generally to mostly cloudy in Sudurpaschim Province and partly to generally cloudy in the rest of the provinces.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, light rain with thunder, lightning, and gusty winds is likely to occur in many places of Sudurpaschim Province and in some places of the rest of the provinces. There are chances of heavy rainfall in one or two places in Koshi Province, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province, Lumbini Province, Karnali Province, and Sudurpaschim Province.

Tonight, it will be generally to mostly cloudy in Lumbini Province, Karnali Province, and Sudurpaschim Province, and partly to generally cloudy in the rest of the provinces. Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur in many places of Lumbini Province and Sudurpaschim Province and in some places of the rest of the provinces.

There are chances of heavy rainfall in a few places in Lumbini Province and Sudurpaschim Province, and in one or two places in the rest of the provinces.

The monsoon trough is currently located south of its average position. At present, the country is under the influence of monsoonal winds along with the impact of a low-pressure system situated around Madhya Pradesh, India.

On Wednesday, the highest temperature was recorded in Dharan at 36°C, while the lowest temperature was in Jomsom at 13.5°C. The highest rainfall was observed in Birendranagar with 25.6 mm of precipitation.
