The Meteorological Forecasting Division has predicted partly to generally cloudy conditions across Nepal, with light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in various regions on Sunday.
According to the forecast, Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces are expected to experience scattered rainfall.
Madhesh Province is also likely to see some showers, with the possibility of heavy rainfall at one or two locations in Koshi, Bagmati, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
Tonight, the weather is expected to remain partly to generally cloudy in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces tonight, with light to moderate rain likely in some areas.
Other parts of the country will remain partly cloudy, with scattered showers predicted in most provinces. Heavy rainfall is expected at one or two places in Koshi and Madhesh provinces during the night.
Meteorological analysis indicates that monsoon winds are currently affecting the entire country. The monsoon trough is situated near its average position in the west and slightly north of its average position in the east.
On Saturday, Dipayal recorded the highest maximum temperature at 36.4°C, while Jomsom had the lowest minimum temperature at 14.5°C.
