The weather across the country is forecast to be Partly to generally cloudy on Friday.

Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur in some places of Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudur Pashchim Province as well as in a few districts of other Provinces.

The meteorological forecasting division has warned of chances of heavy rainfall at one or two places in Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Karnali Province.

Tonight the weather is expected to be generally cloudy throughout the country.

Likewise, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur in some places of Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudur Pashchim Province as well as in a few places in the rest of the Provinces.

The maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded at 36.4 degrees Celsius in Janakpur, while the lowest recorded temperature was 16 degrees Celsius in Jomsom.
