Today's weather will remain generally cloudy with chances of rainfall throughout the country.

The Meteorological Forecasting Division has forecast generally cloudy weather in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Madhesh and Karnali provinces along with the hilly regions of the country. The rest of the country will remain partly cloudy to mainly fair.

The division said light to moderate rain with thunder, lightning and gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places in Koshi Province, Bagmati Province and Gandaki Province and one or two places in Madesh Province and Karnali Province.

Light snowfall is possible at a few places in the eastern and central high mountainous regions.

Tonight, light to moderate rain with thunder, lightning, and gusty winds is forecast in parts of Koshi province and the country's hilly area. Snowfall is expected in one or two high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi Province tonight.

Dhangadi recorded the highest temperature at 41.3 degrees Celsius while Jomsom experienced a minimum temperature of 12.0 degrees Celsius.
