The weather is forecast to be partly to generally cloudy throughout the country on Saturday.

Light to moderate rain with thunder, lightning and gusty wind is likely to occur in some places of Gandaki Province and Lumbini Province and hilly regions of the rest of the provinces and at one or two areas of the rest of the country, the Meteorological Forecasting Division said.

Likewise, brief rains or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Koshi Province, Gandaki Province, hilly regions of Lumbini Province and at a few places in the high hilly areas.

Tonight, it will be partly to generally cloudy in the Gandaki and Karnali Provinces along with the hilly regions of the rest of the Provinces and Partly cloudy to mainly fair in the rest of the country.

Nepalgunj experienced the hottest day in the country with temperatures rising to 40.5 degrees Celsius while Jomsom recorded a minimum temperature of 9.0 degrees Celsius.
