The 44th convocation ceremony of Tribhuvan University was held on Pulchowk Campus on Monday.
Of the eligible 74,284 students, only 9,505 took part in the convocation ceremony.
Office of the Controller of the Examinations accepted applications for convocation through online system for the first time. Vice Chancellor Tirtha Khaniya informed best students in various faculties from colleges affiliated with the university were also awarded in the ceremony.
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli handed out the awards to the outstanding students. Mahendra P Lama, Professor at Jawaharlal Nehru University, was the chief guest of the ceremony.
