People in the Capital gathered at Maitighar Mandala on Friday morning to form a human chain with a message of peace in view of protests in various parts of the country.
The event was organised through a call from social media Facebook, stating that the protests that have been taking place across the country was causing polarisation among the citizens.
The human chain started from Maitighar to Bijulibazar on either side of the road.
Pradeep Khatiwada, one of the organisers, said that the event was an effort from the youths of the nation to minimise polarisation and maximise social harmony among the people.
