Acting on a tip off, a police team arrested Suchitra Kapali, 36 of Kathmandu; Sampurna Gharti Magar, 33, Subash GC, 27 and Bal Krishna Gharti Magar of Baglung; Shweta Rai, 32 of Khotang,  and Babita Bhatta Sapkota, 35 of Kathmandu.

Also arrested were Kanchan Maharjan, 34 of Kathmandu; Sangita Thapa of Gorkha, Nilam Tamang Ghising of Kavre and Sangme Sherpa, 49 of Sindhupalchowk.

Police said they had arrested the ten individuals based on information that Dhukuti was being operated in a house in Dallu, at around 5 pm Wednesday.

During the raid, police found that Kapali had invited all the people to her home

for collecting and distributing money among themselves.

Police also recovered Rs 1.1 million in cash, cheques of Rs 31.9 million of various banks, Indian currency of over Rs 8,000 and a copy documenting the details of the money given to various people.
