Early vote counting shows the Rastriya Swatantra Party leading in 34 constituencies, far ahead of its rivals.
CPN-UML holds early leads in five constituencies, Nepali Congress in two, and Nepali Communist Party in one. Other parties have not led in any constituency so far.
