Rastriya Swatantra Party leads in 32 constituencies

Early vote counting in the parliamentary elections shows the Rastriya Swatantra Party maintaining leads in 32 constituencies across the country.
Rastriya Swatantra Party chairman Rabi Lamichhane is leading in Chitwan-2, while senior party leader Balen Shah holds an early lead in Jhapa-5.
In the Capital, RSP candidates are ahead in several constituencies. Ranju Darshana leads in Kathmandu-1, Sunil KC in Kathmandu-2, Rajunath Pandey in Kathmandu-3, Pukar Bam in Kathmandu-4, Sasmita Pokharel in Kathmandu-5, Ganesh Parajuli in Kathmandu-7, Biraj Bhakta Mahajan in Kathmandu-8, and Pradeep Bista in Kathmandu-10.
The party also holds leads in Bhaktapur, with Rukesh Ranjit ahead in Bhaktapur-1 and Rajiv Khatri leading in Bhaktapur-2.
Other constituencies where RSP candidates are leading include Morang-1 (Yagnamani Nyaupane), Morang-4 (Santosh Rajbanshi), Morang-5 (Asha Jha), Dhanusha-3 (Manish Jha), Rautahat-4 (Ganesh Paudel), Bara-3 (Arbind Sah), Lalitpur-2 (Jagdish Kharel), Chitwan-3 (Sobita Gautam), Kaski-1 (Khadkaraj Paudel), Kaski-2 (Uttam Prasad Paudel), Kaski-3 (Bina Gurung), Rupandehi-2 (Sulabh Kharel), Rupandehi-3 (Lekhjung Thapa), Dang-1 (Devaraj Pathak), Banke-1 (Suresh Kumar Chaudhary), Banke-3 (Khagendra Sunar), and Kanchanpur-2 (Deepakraj Bohara).
The preliminary results indicate a strong showing for the Rastriya Swatantra Party as counting continues nationwide.
