Rastriya Swatantra Party leads in 14 of 15 Kathmandu Valley constituencies

Early vote counting in the parliamentary elections shows the Rastriya Swatantra Party leading in 14 of the 15 constituencies in the Kathmandu Valley.
RSP candidates are leading in all 10 constituencies of Kathmandu, both constituencies in Lalitpur, and both in Bhaktapur.
In Kathmandu, Ranju Darshana leads in Kathmandu-1, Sunil KC in Kathmandu-2, Rajunath Pandey in Kathmandu-3, Pukar Bam in Kathmandu-4, Sasmita Pokharel in Kathmandu-5, Shishir Khanal in Kathmandu-6, Ganesh Parajuli in Kathmandu-7, Biraj Bhakta Mahajan in Kathmandu-8, DP Aryal in Kathmandu-9, and Pradeep Bista in Kathmandu-10.
In Lalitpur, Jagdish Kharel leads in Lalitpur-2 and Tosima Karki in Lalitpur-3, while Congress candidate Udaya Shumsher Rana holds an early lead in Lalitpur-1.
Both Bhaktapur constituencies show RSP candidates leading. In Bhaktapur-1, Rukesh Ranjit leads, followed by Nepal Majdoor Kishan Party candidate Prem Suwal. In Bhaktapur-2, Rajiv Khatri of RSP is ahead, while CPN-UML candidate Mahesh Basnet trails behind.
The preliminary count indicates a strong showing for the Rastriya Swatantra Party across the Valley as counting continues.
