RSP leads with 120 seats, dominates proportional vote with 2.5 million ballots

The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has emerged as the dominant force in the latest House of Representatives election results, winning 120 seats and leading in five more constituencies, according to the latest update.
The Nepali Congress has secured 17 seats.
The CPN-UML has won seven seats and is leading in three constituencies, while the Nepali Communist Party has also won seven seats.
The Shram Sanskriti Party has secured three seats, while the Rastriya Prajatantra Party has won one seat.
Independent candidate Mahabir Pun has also been elected to the House of Representatives.
Under the proportional representation category, out of 5,078,360 votes counted so far, the RSP leads with 2,503,345 votes, followed by the Congress with 844,387 votes, and the UML with 722,746 votes.
The Nepali Communist Party has secured 345,847 votes, the Rastriya Prajatantra Party 181,500 votes, and the Shram Sanskriti Party 124,229 votes.
