Nepal Oil Corporation hikes petrol, diesel prices
Petrol is now costlier by Rs4 per litre and diesel and kerosene by Rs3 each.

The Nepal Oil Corporation has increased petrol and diesel prices with effect from Monday midnight. The state-owned monopoly hiked the petrol price by Rs4 per litre and diesel and kerosene by Rs3 per litre each.
Consumers now have to pay Rs171 per litre for petrol in Kathmandu, Pokhara and Dipayal.
They have to pay Rs170 for a litre of petrol in Surkhet and Dang and Rs168.50 in Charaali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhgunj, Bhalwari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi and Birgunj.
Likewise, a litre of diesel and kerosene will now cost Rs160 in Kathmandu, Pokhara and Dipayal; Rs159 in Surkhet and Dang; and Rs157.50 in Charaali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhgunj, Bhalwari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi and Birgunj.
