President Bhandari discharged from hospital

President Bidya Devi Bhandari, who has been infected with Covid-19, has been discharged from the hospital on Tuesday.
The head of the state, who was admitted to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital on Saturday after she suffered from a high fever and severe body aches, had tested positive for the coronavirus on Sunday.
“President Bhandari has been discharged from the hospital, as her health condition is normal and rapid diagnostic test showed her Covid negative,” said a doctor at the hospital, asking not to be named, as he is not authorised to speak to the media.
Doctors attending the president had given her intravenous fluids on Saturday and started oral medicines on Sunday.
“The condition of the President is normal now and she has been discharged today,” said Tika Dhakal, expert advisor on media to the president.
