Land revenue officials caught red-handed with bribe

The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) caught two officials of the Land Revenue Office, Chitwan, red-handed with bribe on Thursday.
Non-gazetted (Nayab Subba) officer Manoj Niraula and office assistant Shankar Prasad Dhital were caught red-handed while receiving Rs 25,000 kickback from a service seeker today. A team deployed from the CIAA Hetauda Office arrested them from the office this afternoon.
CIAA spokesperson and Joint Secretary Rameshwor Dandal said that they are looking into the case.
