Left alliance's Shrestha defeats NC's Poudel
Nepali Congress senior leader Ramchandra Poudel has been defeated by left alliance candidate Krishna Kumar Shrestha in Tanahun-1.

Nepali Congress senior leader Ramchandra Poudel has been defeated by left alliance candidate Krishna Kumar Shrestha in Tanahun-1.
Shrestha garnered 34,492 votes while Poudel secured 27,690 votes.
Likewise, in Tanahun Province 1 'A', UML's Ram bahadur Gurung was elected with 18, 265 votes. His nearest rival NC's Govinda Bhattarai mustered 16,878 votes.
Similarly, in Tanahun Province 1 'B' left alliance candidate from CPN (Maoist Centre) Hari Bahadur Chuman was elected with 15,360 votes while his nearest rival Raghu Nath Poudel got 11,881 votes.
