The central work execution committee meeting held at Baluwatar on Thursday discussed current politics and the selection of candidates for the forthcoming elections, said leader NP Saud.
According to him, the meeting also prepared the agenda for the next meeting of the central work execution committee and how it could forge electoral alliance with other political parties.
Prime Minister and party President Sher Bahadur Deuba, senior leader Ram Chandra Paudel, General Secretary Sashank Koirala and Treasurer Sita Devi Yadav among others were present in the meeting.
Following the announcement of electoral alliance among CPN-UML, CPN (Maoist Centre) and Naya Shakti Nepal, the NC has decided to form a broader democratic front by accommodating democratic, nationalist and progressive forces. RSS
