UML candidates Kanchha Ghale has been elected as chairperson of Nesyang Village Council of Manang.
Ghale defeated Nepali Congress candidates Binod Gurung. According to election officer Udbir Nepali, Ghale received 627 votes while Gurung garnered 461 votes.
UML also secured vice-chairman post in Nesyang. UML candidates Minghu Gurung (611 votes) defeated NC's Chhiring Ongma Gurung (505 votes).
