11 injured in bus–truck collision

As many as 11 passengers were injured in a collision between a bus and truck at Khaireni stretch of the highway in eastern Chitwan on Monday night.
The bus, Na 5 Kha 2295, heading towards Kakarbhitta from Kathmandu and a truck, Na 6 Kha 7971, en route to Pokhara from Birgunj collided leaving nine passengers of the bus and two from the truck with injuries, according to District Police Office, Chitwan.
They are being treated at the Bharatpur College of Medical Sciences.
One of the injured is reported to be in critical condition. The accident took place at 12:30 last night. RSS
