Bhagwati Paudel of the NC-affiliated, Nepal Women Association, fractured her leg in the incident. There were 48 people on the stage when it collapsed.
The function was organised to honour the donors who provided assistance to construct district party office in Dhading. Earlier in the day, the NC leaders participated in the foundation stone laying ceremony for the new party office at Milantol.
