Dr Prakash Chandra Bhattarai, Assistant Professor of Kathmandu University, has been honoured with ‘Highly Commendable Award’ of the 2015 Emerald/EFMD Outstanding Doctoral Research Awards.
Dr Bhattarai's PhD dissertation titled "Ethical leadership in Nepali Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Schools: A Convergent Mixed Methods Study" was conferred with the award.
The award is granted by Emerald Group Publishing Limited, a global company that publishes academic journal on various issues.
A jury of academicians and researchers chose Dr Bhattarai from many applicants across the globe under the "Educational leadership and strategy" category.
Dr Bhattarai was awarded PhD from Kathmandu University in 2014.
