Dhading District Police arrested gangster Radha Krishna Bhandari aka Radhe from a local restaurant in the district on Monday. He had been on the run since Patan Appellate Court ordered to arrest him under arms possession and murder charges.  

Radhe had become the talk of town following the death of don Dinesh Adhikari alias ‘Chari’ in police encounter .

DSP Sabin Pradhan said Radhe was arrested from a local Lokdohari Sanjh restaurant. He has been handed over to Kathmandu Metropolitan Police Circle. 

Radhe had allegedly opened fire at his own gang member Dinesh Adhikari on July 6, 2013. He was arrested following the incident and later released on bail by Kathmandu District Court. 

However, the Patan Appellate Court overturned the district court order on July 11, 2014, and issued an order to send him behind bars. 

Gangster Adhikari was killed in police encounter at Bhimdhunga in the Capital on August 6, 2014.
