NEB publishes Class 12 results, 64.13 percent secure grades
Retotalling applications open from June 20 to 26.Post Report
The National Examinations Board on Friday published the results of the Grade 12 annual examinations.
A total of 418,170 students appeared in the examinations this year, including 332,241 in the regular category and 85,929 in partial examinations. Of them, 268,190 students have secured grades in all subjects, including 231,770 from the regular category and 36,420 from the partial category.
The pass rate stands at 69.75 percent in the regular category and 42.38 percent in the partial category. The overall pass rate is 64.13 percent.
The board said it has taken action against 40 students found involved in irregularities during the examinations. Of them, the results of all subjects of 38 students have been cancelled. Two students have had their results cancelled and have also been barred from appearing in any examinations conducted by the board for one year.
Results can be accessed through the board’s websites result.neb.gov.np and neb.gov.np, as well as via Nepal Telecom’s website, SMS, IVR and USSD services.
Students dissatisfied with their results can apply for retotalling by paying Rs1,000 per subject. The online application window will open at 11am on June 20 and close at 5pm on June 26.
