Dusit Thani Himalayan Resort Dhulikhel has appointed Ankit Sharma as its general manager.

Sharma, who previously served as the resort’s hotel manager, takes on the new role after helping strengthen the property’s service standards, operational performance and guest experience, the resort said in a statement.

He brings more than 18 years of hospitality experience across Nepal and India, having held leadership positions with international hotel brands including Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Marriott International and Starwood.

His expertise covers hotel operations, commercial strategy, revenue optimisation and brand development, with a strong track record of improving business performance and delivering high-quality guest experiences.

As general manager, Sharma will lead the resort’s growth as one of Nepal’s emerging luxury destinations, with a focus on enhancing guest experiences, developing talent and strengthening the property’s market position through Dusit’s signature hospitality.
