Gold and silver prices rise

Gold price rose in the Nepali market on Sunday, climbing by Rs9,500 per tola (11.663 grams). With this, the price of fine gold has reached Rs3,05,000 per tola. The metal was traded at Rs2,91,000 per tola on Friday.
Silver prices also rose on Sunday, climbing from Rs4,710 per tola on Friday to Rs5,010 per tola.
In the international market, the spot price of gold was about $4,965 per ounce on Sunday, reflecting wider gains in global bullion markets. Silver was trading near $78 per ounce, supported by a recovery in global prices after recent volatility.
