Sujal Foods Pvt Ltd, a leading confectionery manufacturer in Nepal, has launched the Waffy Family Pack, a new product in its popular wafer line. The product is now available in 120g packs priced at Rs100.
The Waffy Family Pack features four layers of crispy wafer and three layers of creamy filling, designed to offer a “balanced combination of taste and texture,” the company said in a press release on Thursday. It is available in two flavours—Strawberry and Chocolate—and has a shelf life of 12 months.
“The Waffy Family Pack is developed for today’s consumers who seek premium quality snacks at an affordable price,” the company says. It added that the product is targeted at children, homemakers, and young adults, and is intended to serve as a convenient treat for both personal consumption and sharing.
Sujal Foods states that the wafers are manufactured using “state-of-the-art hygienic processes” and packed in three-layer metallic foil with a protective tray to retain freshness and aroma.
In addition to the domestic market, the company says Waffy is also being exported to the United States, Europe, Australia, and several Gulf countries.
“With over 25 years in the wafer segment and 50 years in the confectionery business, we aim to provide consistent quality at accessible pricing,” the company says.
Sujal Foods is a flagship subsidiary of Laxmi Group.
