NEPSE index rises by 39.13 points, trading volume declines

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index rose by 39.13 points on Wednesday, closing at 2,621.86 points, an increase of 1.51 percent. This follows a decline of 58.05 points on Tuesday.
A total of 231 companies saw an increase in their stock prices, while 12 companies saw no change in their values. The total trading volume reached Rs4.2 billion, with 48,785 transactions conducted. In comparison, Rs5.18 billion worth of shares were traded on Monday.
The market saw the transaction of 9,141,941 shares throughout the day. All sub-groups on the NEPSE index saw gains. The positive trend was observed across various sectors, contributing to the overall rise in the index.
