Ten apply for CEO position at Nepal Stock Exchange
Ministry of Finance confirms that ten candidates submitted applications for the CEO role at NEPSE.

The race for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has intensified, with ten applicants vying for the role. The Ministry of Finance confirmed that the deadline to apply for the post closed on Sunday, receiving a total of ten submissions.
According to the ministry, the applicants include Purna Prasad Aryal, Badri Prasad Pyakurel, Narad Kumar Luitel, Yubaraj Dahal, Prabin Adhikari, Chudamani Chapagain, Bimal Kumar Tiwari, Krishna Bahadur Karki, Hemant Basyal, and Mukunda Raj Joshi.
In preparation for selecting the new CEO, the ministry formed a selection committee last week. The committee, headed by joint secretary Sebantak Pokharel, includes Amrit Lamsal, Khomraj Kharel as members.
The position of CEO at NEPSE went vacant on February 7 following the completion of the tenure of the previous CEO, Krishna Bahadur Karki.
