Kathmandu

OTS Academy, based in Oxford, UK, and the Asian Institute of Technology and Management (AITM College) in Lalitpur have announced that they will be hosting the International Conference on Sustainable Tourism Development in Uncertain Times in the historic and culturally rich city of Kathmandu.

The two-day conference, which will begin on April 7, aims to bring together academics, researchers, policymakers, industry practitioners, and other stakeholders to explore and address the challenges and opportunities in sustainable tourism amidst global uncertainties.

Sustainable tourism development requires innovative strategies and resilient frameworks in an era of rapid changes and unforeseen challenges.

“Building on the success of previous international tourism conferences, this conference seeks to provide a dynamic platform for discussing the latest trends, research findings, and best practices in planning, developing, marketing, and managing sustainable tourism,” the organiser said.

“Our goal is to foster collaboration and generate actionable insights that can drive the tourism sector towards sustainability and resilience.”
