Ncell Private Limited has introduced the Travellers’ SIM campaign, targeting foreigners visiting Nepal from different parts of the world for vacation or for business. The campaign allows foreign nationals to easily subscribe to a Ncell SIM for just Rs110.

The starter pack includes a SIM card along with a main balance of Rs30 and 300MB data valid for 3 days. According to the press release issued by the company, users can use the main balance to make calls within the Ncell network.

After activation of the starter pack, foreigners can buy Combo Packs especially designed for them at prices ranging from Rs490 to Rs1,960, states the release. Users will be able to choose from four options—Light, Medium, Heavy and Super—which tourists can buy as per their need and duration of stay in Nepal.

The Light Pack comes with 7GB data and 20 minutes talk time costs Rs 490 and it is valid for 7 days. For those who plan to stay in Nepal for a bit longer duration, they can buy Medium Pack and Heavy Pack. In Medium Pack, subscribers get 14 GB data and 30 minutes of talk time at Rs 980. Heavy Pack comes with 21 GB data and 40 minutes talk time. It costs Rs 1,470 and is valid for 21 days, said the company.

For visitors looking for more data and voice service, the Super Pack which costs Rs1,960 comes with 28GB data and 50 minutes of talk time with a validity of 28 days.

Ncell is introducing the Travellers’ SIM to help address the communications need of foreigners visiting Nepal at an affordable price.

Initially, the Travellers’ SIM will be available at Ncell’s counter at Tribhuvan International Airport and Ncell Centres across the country. Over time, the SIM will be made easily from all Point of Sales, said the company.

Foreigners are required to submit a recent passport size photo and a copy of their passport to get the starter pack.
