The state-of-art 3S (sales, service, spare) facility was jointly inaugurated by Suraj Vaidya, president of UTS, Ritu S. Vaidya, managing director of UTS and Hiroyuki Fukui, president of Toyota Motor Asia Pacific.
A community park built by UTS was also launched. The park named “Anandanagar Bijay Uddhan” was inaugurated by Kishor Shakya, president of Sampanna Bagmati Sabhyata Bikash Samiti, Bhim Bahadur Bhandari of Anandanagar Tole Sudhar Samiti and Suraj Vaidya. A tree plantation programme was also held at the park.
“It has been a wonderful day for UTS,” said Suraj Vaidya. “It has been only 50 years and we hope to provide services for a lot longer.”
VOITH Spirit of Excellence 2017, was also held at the same event, where influential organisations and personalities in the sectors of education, media and health were awarded and felicitated. Dr. Suresh Raj Sharma from Teach for Nepal and Dr. Sanduk Ruit, from an organization named “Possible”, were among those receiving the awards.
Toyota also launched two new vehicles, the Innova Crysta and Fortuner.
