Gorkha Brewery has launched a new refreshing drink—Somersby Apple Cider—amid an event here on Sunday. 

Somersby Apple Cider is a refreshing carbonated alcoholic drink made from fermented apple juice with 4.5 percent alcohol level, the company said in a statement. “The drink has a sweet taste with all natural ingredients and no artificial sweeteners, flavors or colorings. The drink is best served over ice and is now available in 250ml bottles, and in packs of twelve in Kathmandu.”

The drink as been launched exclusively in Kathmandu and will cater to the urban sector in various other cities within Nepal in the near future. “Carlsberg launched Somersby Apple Cider in Denmark and Norway with great success back in 2008. We at Gorkha Brewery hope to contribute to Nepalese market with same enthusiasm since the product has embarked a success trend in more than 50 countries.” said Baibhav Sharma, head of marketing at Gorkha Brewery.

Somersby Cider is internationally available in many different delicious variants out of which most popular are Apple, Pear and Blackberry.
