Syakar launches 4th generation Honda City
Syakar Trading Company (STC), sole authorised distributor of Honda cars in Nepal, has launched the all-new 4th generation Honda City car.
PR Ramakrishna, general manager - marketing at Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL), Padma Jyoti, chairman of Jyoti Group, Saurabh Jyoti, chairman of STC, and Suhrid Jyoti, vice-chairman of STC, jointly launched the car during an event here on Thursday.
The car boasts a 1.5 litre iVTEC petrol engine that produces maximum power of 119ps at 6,600 rpm and maximum torque of 145nm at 6,400 rpm. The sedan comes with features like premium wrap around tail lamps, solid wing frame wind grille, electric sunroof, power folding ORVM with turn indicators and AC vents for rear passengers. The car has 4,400x1,695x1,495 mm in dimensions and a 2,600 mm wheelbase.
Other features include rear-view camera, larger boot space, iPhone connectivity, hands free telephone sync ability, one push engine start on and off button, SRS airbags on the front and impact mitigating headrests. The company said with all these features, the car will be more appealing for the Nepali customers.
The company has priced the EMT variant at Rs 3.42 million, SMT at Rs. 3.65 million, SVMT at Rs. 3.82 million, VMT at Rs 4 million, SV CVT at Rs 4.20 million, VXMT at Rs 4.35 million and VX CVT at Rs 4.75 million.
The City comes in Carnelian Red Pearl, Golden Brown Metallic, Alabaster Silver Metallic, Taffeta White, Crystal Black Pearl and Urban Titanium Metallic colour options.
Lomus Manandhar, manager at Honda Cars - STC, said the company aims to sell 250 units of the cars this year.
