Three people were killed in a vehicle accident in Musikot Municipality-1 of Rukum West. Three others were injured.

According to the police, the vehicle, belonging to Worldlink Communication, fell some 400 meters down the road near Gilwang at 8:30 pm on Sunday.

The vehicle was travelling to Musikot from Chhinkhet of Banfikot Rural Municipality-4.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Nawaraj Pokharel, the deceased are a 27-year-old from Thakurbaba Municipality-5, a 30-year-old Gurbhakot Municipality-8 local, and a 22-year-old from Barahatal Rural Municipality. All of them are men.

The injured have been referred to Nepalgunj for further treatment following primary medication at the district hospital, police said.
