A 25-year-old new mother, who gave birth to a baby girl a month ago, apparently died of cold under a tent in ward 8 of Nalgad Municipality on Sunday night. 

According to Tej Bahadur Singh, the ward chief, the deceased has been identified as Sharmila Chadara. 

The victim was staying under the flimsy tent after the 6.4 magnitude earthquake damaged her house on November 3.
