Nepal reports 106 new Covid-19 cases, one death
The number of active cases stands at 414, with seven infected with the virus being treated in intensive care units while three others are on ventilator support.Post Report
Nepal on Friday reported one Covid-related death in the last 24 hours, taking the nationwide death toll to 12,026 since the pandemic began three years ago.
According to the Health Ministry, 64 PCR-confirmed coronavirus cases were reported in the last 24 hours, taking the nationwide infection tally so far to 1,002,537.
Similarly, of the 1,302 antigen tests, 42 people tested positive, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Tuesday, 6,029,966 PCR and 1,564,028 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 581 PCR tests were carried out in the past 24 hours.
According to the ministry, 990,097 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 46 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 414.
On Friday, seven individuals infected with the virus were being treated in intensive care units across the country. Three others were on ventilator support.
Nepal on Wednesday had reported 72 new PCR-confirmed coronavirus cases.
