Solo exhibition ‘Nepal Down the Ages: Glimpse of Nepali History, Culture and Lifestyles in Painting’ by artist Hari Prasad Sharma is running in Nepal Art Council. The exhibit encompasses his 30 years of work.
Minister of Education, Science and Technology Raghuji Pant said at the inauguration, “These paintings should be preserved and protected—they deserve to be displayed in a museum.”
The exhibition features 60 works, including both oil and watercolour paintings.
Through his work, Sharma hopes to create a visual archive that allows students and young people to better understand and appreciate Nepal’s rich history and heritage. The exhibition, which runs until May 31, offers free entry to visitors and is open daily from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm.
