Generally cloudy conditions are expected across the country on Tuesday, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division. The division said there is a possibility of light rain or snowfall accompanied by thunder and lightning at a few places in the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Sudurpashchim provinces. 

Similar weather is also likely at one or two places in Karnali Province and the Tarai region of Lumbini Province. Tonight, generally cloudy conditions are expected in Gandaki and Lumbini provinces as well as in the hilly and mountainous regions of the country, while the remaining areas will remain partly cloudy.

There is a possibility of light rain or snowfall accompanied by thunder and lightning at one or two places in the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces.

According to the division, Nepal is currently under the partial influence of westerly winds, a high-pressure system in the upper atmosphere and a low-pressure area in the lower atmosphere near the eastern region of the country.
