Tonight, cloudy conditions are expected to continue in the hills and mountains, with light rain or snowfall possible along with thunder and lightning in parts of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces. Haze is likely in a few Tarai areas.

The Meteorological Forecasting Division said the weather is being influenced by a high-pressure ridge in the upper atmosphere and a low-pressure area near eastern Nepal in the lower atmosphere.
