Tonight, the weather will be generally cloudy with a chance of light to moderate rain and thunderstorms throughout the country.

Heavier rainfall is likely in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Sudur Pashchim provinces, where the Meteorological Forecasting Division warns of possible heavy to very heavy rainfall.

Tomorrow’s forecast remains similar, with a partly to generally cloudy sky and a major possibility of light to moderate rain and thunderstorms across the country.

Heavy rainfall is expected in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudur Pashchim provinces. The forecasting division has warned of very heavy to extremely heavy rainfall in parts of Madesh Province.

By issuing a special bulletin, the Met Office has advised residents to take precautions and safety measures.
