Actor Madan Krishna Shrestha has been bereaved of his wife.

Shrestha’s wife Yashodha Shrestha, 67, who was suffering from cancer for the past eight years, passed away during treatment at Harisiddhi Cancer Hospital at 10:45pm on Monday.

According to family sources, final rites of the deceased will be performed at Pashupati Aryaghat on Tuesday.

Yashodha, born on December 29, 1951, was married to actor Madan Krishna Shrestha 35 years ago. The Shrestha couple has a son and a daughter.
