Metropolitan Police Circle, Teku on Thursday arrested the proprietor of Everest Hotel, Mashkoor Ahmad Lari from Maharajgunj in Kathmandu.
Hotelier Lari was on the run after drugs were recovered at Frankfort,Germany from a parcel he sent to The Netherlands from Thamel, Kathmandu.
Lari was on the most wanted list of the Nepal Police.
The Supreme Court, a few days ago, had issued a verdict regarding the ownership of Everest Hotel in favour of Lari.
Everest Hotel has remained closed since the 2015 earthquake.
