The Sudurpaschim provincial government has decided to provide Rs100,000 each as financial assistance to the families of those killed in the bus accident in Baitadi on Thursday.
The decision was taken at a cabinet meeting held on Friday.
The bus was returning to Bajhang with a wedding party from Baitadi when it met with an accident at Badgaun in ward 7 of Purchaudi Municipality.
The death toll from the accident has reached 13, while 35 others are undergoing treatment at various hospitals.
The cabinet also decided that the provincial government will bear the full cost of treatment for the injured as long as they receive care at government hospitals.
