Baitadi
Two people died after falling off cliffs in separate incidents in Baitadi district on Wednesday.
According to Police Inspector Baldev Badu, spokesperson for the District Police Office, Baitadi, 58-year-old Haruli Karki of ward 7 of Dilasaini Rural Municipality and 61-year-old Indra Singh Saud of ward 5 of Shivanath Rural Municipality lost their lives.
Karki died on the spot around 4pm while cutting grass near her home. Saud died after falling off a cliff on his way home from a local fair held at the Shivanath temple in the evening.
Police said further investigation into both incidents is underway.
