Two people died in separate incidents in Kanchanpur district on Wednesday, police said.

According to the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, 23-year-old Ashik Rana of Bani Camp in ward 2 of Krishnapur Municipality died after a tractor collided with a motorcycle in Bani. He died while undergoing treatment at Maya Metro Hospital in Dhangadhi on Wednesday night.

In another incident, five-year-old Prinzila Sarki drowned in the Choudhar River while bathing at Harpal in ward 10 of Bedkot Municipality. She was found unconscious and died during treatment at Mahakali Hospital, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Sagar Bohara.
